Hi Jan,
I have finally had an opportunity to compare your foam concentrate to the foam we currently use, and to another sample given to us recently. For the purposes of comparison, the same educator off of the same truck was used on all three samples. Pumped by the same person at the same pressure, etc. Three different shifts tried all three samples on three different days, and the results were the same.
I have to say, your foam out-performed the other two by a considerable margin. I was particularly impressed with your concentrate’s ability to stick to the wooden pallets (class A) even after the fire was extinguished. So much so, that we had to wash the stack of pallets down with fresh water to get them to relight for the next Shift! We did use three separate stacks the next day, to compare the foams more fairly, and the Novacool UEF again did a great job.
We also tried the samples on a diesel pit simulator, and the UEF consistently performed well. The two other samples created a blanket within the same time frame, but could not hold the blanket after extinguishment as well as the Novacool UEF did. I did not use any product directly out of our trucks, as I have had bad experiences mixing new with old foam types (even residue), but if it does this well with an external educator, I know it will play nice in the truck after the existing foam is purged.
I have @ 9 buckets of our current foam left , but anticipate purchasing your product when that is gone.
Thank you again for the opportunity to try your product.
